Sound Designer / Sound Engineer / Sound Supervisor
Kimber King recently earned her MFA in acting from UCF, but her roots are in production. She comes from a long line of musicians. Sound was a natural obsession for her from an early age. She studied audio at Grand Valley State University in Michigan. After graduation she engineered for ProAudio in Grand Rapids MI working for national artists like Heart, Gladys Knight, Bonnie Raitt, Eddie Money, and James Brown. She was a company member and resident sound engineer/designer for The Playhouse at White Lake for nearly 14 years. Whether acting, directing, educating, or producing, Kimber loves all things storytelling. She is fascinated by sound and seizes every opportunity to create a new scape or to learn a new skill.
