Lighting Designer

David is thrilled to return to the Studio Theatre. Previous Studio Theatre credits include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, La Cage Aux Folles, Neighbors A Fair-Trade Agreement, Assassins, 9 to 5 The Musical, Pipeline, Broadbend Arkansas, The Cake, Urinetown, No. 6, and Elegies. Other design credits include Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing, King John (Nebraska Shakespeare); Hansel & Gretel (Lyric Theatre at Illinois) Iago’s Plot (Illinois Theatre), and The World Goes Round (Porthouse Theatre). He received his MFA in Lighting Design from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. David is the Associate Lighting Director at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts and serves on the Lighting Design faculty at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. www.davidkrupladesigns.com
