K Chinthana Sotakoun makes their debut at The SigPro Studio. Regional credits include Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Romeo and Juliet (American Stage), Rose and the Beast (freeFall), A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Henry V, Hand to God (Jobsite), King Lear, OPEN (Tampa Rep), Cambodian Rock Band, Miss You Like Hell (TheatreSquared), Twelfth Night (Catskill Mountain Shakespeare). They won the 2022 award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy at the Orlando Independent Film Festival for the short Critical Moment. K is a singer/songwriter who composed the score for and starred in the Central Florida-made short On the Rise. Feature films include What Rhymes with Magdalena?, Love’s Playlist, and The Friend Zone. They have also performed onboard Princess Cruise Lines as lead vocalist. K is a Chicagoland native who studied acting at the University of Illinois.
