Cultural Competency Specialist

Ayòfémi Demps is a Central Florida educator, director, actor, teaching artist, and theatrical activist. She specializes in cultural competency, dramaturgy and consent-based intimacy for stage. Ayòfémi is also a fantasy writer and poet, with an M.F.A in Popular Fiction Writing & Publishing from Emerson College. Recent credits include Orlando Sentinel Nominations for Best Leading Actor in a Musical (Sweeney Todd at Theater West End (TWE)); Best Director of a Musical and Top Production (Lady Day at TWE) and Critic’s Picks for Best Director of a Drama and Best Drama (Appropriate at Ensemble Company).
