Shaq Hester is a Jersey-born, southern-bred singer-actor, producer and BroadwayWorld New Jersey Award Nominee. His favorite roles include Harpo in The Color Purple (Short North Stage, dir. Vasthy Mompoint), Wes in The View UpStairs (The Progressive Theater) and Little Moe in Five Guys Named Moe (Workshop Theatre of SC). Off-Broadway: Lewberger & the Wizard of Friendship (Theatre Row, dir. Keith Habersberger), Antigone in Ferguson (Theater of War). Regional: Tituss Burgess’ The Preacher’s Wife (Alliance Theatre, dir.
