Jill is a proud Michigander, performing in the Villages since 2011. At Studio Theater, Jill played keyboard for Assassins and It Shoulda Been You. In Michigan, she began accompanying musicals at age 14, sang many roles in community theater, was soprano/French coach in professional opera chorus 20 years, and soloist with a big band. Villages musical roles include: Marian (Music Man), Irene (Hello Dolly), Sarah (Guys and Dolls), Julie (Carousel), also music direction/pit for many shows. Jill plays bassoon with Villages bands/orchestras, and entertains at local clubs with the duo Two Darn Hot. She works extensively with area school students, and is a retired public school teacher of French and Musical Theater.
