Karel is thrilled to be making her Studio Tierra del Sol debut. Favorite roles include Ben Franklin in 1776, Ruth Steiner in Collected Stories, Big Mama in Cat On a Hot Tin Roof, Mrs. Rittenhouse in Animal Crackers (Mad Cow Theatre). Karel recently returned from Northern California where she played Mag Folan in The Beauty Queen of Leenane and previously Alison in Harper Reagan (Jewel Theatre). Other Florida credits include Mattie Fae in August Osage County and Delia in One Slight Hitch (American Stage), Mrs. Bradman in High Spirits starring Georgia Engel (TheatreZone).
